Donna A. Barker

Donna Arliene Scanlon-Barker, has passed away at the age of 59. She is survived by her husband Brian Barker, her daughters Melissa and Mackenzie, her son Likid, her granddaughter Stella, her parents Thomas F. and Sandra Scanlon, her brother Thomas A. Scanlon (Linda), her mother-in-law Jean Barker, her brothers-in-law Michael, Ricky (Shelley), and Timmy, her sisters-in-law Linda, Marsha, and Patty (Ray), and her many nieces and nephews, all who she loved dearly.  She is predeceased by her her grandparents, her father-in-law Byron, and her brother-in-law Barry, all of whom had a special place in her heart. Donna had the ability to put a smile on the face of her closest friends, and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone she met. She was an avid animal-lover, especially cats. Donna enjoyed various activities, and you could always find her on the golf course in the summer, at the bowling alley in the winter, and enjoying life with her best friends, Patty and Michele, at her side.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the THOMAS J. SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904 from 4 until 7pm.  In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation in Donna’s name to the Binghamton Animal Care Council.
