Frank Forbes Jr.

Frank B. Forbes Jr. 92, of Binghamton, went to be with the lord on March 31, 2018 while residing at Willow Point Nursing Home. He is predeceased by his parents Frank Sr. and Iva Forbes; sister Dorothy LeBaron; brother Gordon Forbes; son John H. Forbes. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Gloria Forbes; children Robert  (Kelly) Forbes, Gloria (Sid) Penny, Patricia (Dan) Lester, Kristine (Glenn) Roloson, Judith (Jason) Soden; grandchildren Gretchen (Eric), Whitney (Mike), Jason (Melissa), Daniel, Matthew, Andrea, Meghan, Morgan, Kaelyn, Garrett; several great-grandchildren; brother Rodger Forbes; as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Iowa, he retired in 1981 from the Binghamton Psychiatric Center as the foreman of the plumbing shop. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, he was extremely thoughtful to his family. Family was his pride and joy, he will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 until 6pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park with Full Military Honors.
