Frank MushallaDecember 4, 1925 ~ August 16, 2017 (age 91)
Frank Mushalla, 91, of Binghamton, NY went to be with the Lord with his family by his side on August 16, 2017. He is predeceased by wife Irene; parents Frank and Mary; four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his loving and devoted children Beverly (Alfonso) Monaco, Mark (Eileen) Mushalla; grandchildren Jamie (Anne) Monaco, Joey Monaco, Jeffrey (Katie) Monaco, Matthew (Jessica) Mushalla, Andrew (Nicole) Mushalla, Christopher, Alex, Alyssa, Nicholas, Elijah, Julianna and Manny Mushalla; great grandchildren Dillon and Samatha Monaco, Giavanna and Natalia Mushalla and Davin. Frank proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He moved to Binghamton in 1953 to start a career at the Columbia Gas. Co. and later took a position at the NYS Public Service Commission where he retired from after many years. His favorite past time was playing the horses at OTB, but the best of all was every Sunday afternoon with all his grandchildren, at his home enjoying watching all sports, especially football. A special thank you to the loving and compassionate staff at Willow Point who took care of him during his final weeks. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10am at the Church of Saints John and Andrew on Vestal Ave. in Binghamton. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Calvary Cemetery.
