James Edwards

The love of my life passed away on February 21, 2018 after a brief illness. Jim is survived by his wife Sue, daughter Brooke, son-in-law Kevin, grandsons Liam and Evan and best friend Koko.  He is also survived by his sisters Connie Starr and Barb (Peter) Metritikas; brothers Charlie Edwards and Doug (Carolyn) Edwards, sister-in-law Mary Edwards, brother-in-law John Gianakos, mother-in-law Jeanette Moore, sister-in-laws Sherryl (Jimmy) Michelsen, Janice (John) Henry and Terry (Mark) Wallace; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents, Ivan & Edith, brothers Dick, Bill, Gary, sisters Dawn and Carol; brother-in-law Bob Starr and sister-in-law Hope Edwards. Jim retired after 27 years working as a water operator for the Town of Chenango.  He was a member of the Teamsters Union, local 317. Jim loved nothing more than spending time with family, camping, caring for his classic car and spending time relaxing at the lake. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 3 P.M. at St Mark's Episcopal Church, 728 River Rd., Chenango Bridge. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00PM prior to the service.
