Kathryn Roe Obituary

Kathryn L. Roe of Binghamton, NY passed away March 13, 2018. Married for fifty years to Howard G. Roe, previously deceased. Beloved mother/mother-in-law of Carol Roe Bergeron and Raymond Bergeron, Endwell, NY. Predeceased by siblings Earl Palmer, Hazel (Palmer) Sloboda, Edward Smith and Robert Smith; she leaves several nephews and nieces. A long-time employee of the Binghamton City School District, she was a member of the committee that created Binghamton's College Day Program. Mrs. Roe was a long-time member of Fairview United Methodist Church where she volunteered in several programs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to Mercy House, 212 No. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760; your local food pantry or by giving of your time to someone. There will be no calling hours, burial will be private.
