Leslie J. (Szelkowski) Lott

Leslie Joan (Szelkowski) Lott , 68,  formerly of Binghamton, lost her courageous battle with Cancer, with her family by her side on Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard Lott; and her father George Szelkowski. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer MacNabb, Mebane NC; step daughter Kimberly (Peter) Adam  of Massachusetts; mother Beverly Szelkowski; brothers,  Frank (Janette) High Point, N.C,    David (Jody) Greene, NY,  John (Judith) Endicott, NY , Dan (Coltilde)Denver Co,  Greg , Binghamton and sister Judy (John) McHale of Binghamton.  Also surviving are her step grandchildren, Jared and Madison Adam of Massachusetts as well as several nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephew, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Leslie served proudly in the United States Navy and Naval Reserves from 1968 through 1994, on active duty during Viet Nam and Desert Storm. She also served as an officer for the US Naval Sea Cadets, Intrepid Division in Binghamton. Leslie was a life member of NERA and over twenty years as a Legionnaire for the American Legion Post 1645, Binghamton. She worked many years for Lourdes Hospital and for the claims division of Blue/Cross Blue Shield. Leslie was an avid quilter and crafter and loved her family, country and her cherished pets. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive family and friends at THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton on Saturday, Sept, 2, 2017 from 9-10am.  A Funeral Service will begin at 10am. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
