Lived 35,611 days
Marge was proud to be re-confirmed into the Episcopal Faith as a member of St. Mark’s Church. She knew the value of hard work being employed at ANSCO, Endicott Johnson, and A.C. Spear Electric. She instilled in her family a strong work ethic and doing it right the first time. All her hard work paid off. She was able to travel throughout the United States. In her travels she loved seeing the beauty of nature with peacocks and butterflies catching her eye the most. She lived her life by “refusing to be ordinary.” So don’t be ordinary, rather live your life based on your own happiness. Do it your way!
Marge resided in Westover, Illinois, Windsor, Greene and Port Crane. The family members who will keep her spirit and her words of wisdom alive are: daughter and caregiver Nancy Cady, her 3 grandchildren Sandy (Mark) Cooney, Stephen (Tammie), Sharon and 4 great grandchildren; and daughter and son-in-law Sally (Raymond) Rood, 3 grandchildren Jefferson (Jo Beth), Timothy, Douglas (Diane), 10 grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Also, cousins, nephews, nieces and their families. The family members who have welcomed her into her eternal life are: parents Floyd (Lena) Eccleston, brother Kenneth (Iris), father of her children Raymond Fiffith, husband A.C. Spear, son Richard L. Spear 1st Lt. US Army, son-in-law James Cady, and grandson Curtis Rood.
A church service will be officiated by The Reverend Mark Giroux at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Chenango Bridge at 2:00pm Saturday 24 February. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
