Born May 13, 1920, Mildred grew up and spent most of her life in Binghamton, NY.  After graduating from Central High, she met her future husband Martin Cardone, who was not only handsome, but also a great dancer.  They were married for 58 years and had three beautiful daughters, Carin, Constance, and Sandra.  She was a dedicated member of the Parish of St. Andrew and also enjoyed successful careers at both Universal Instruments and Chumsky & Collins, CPAs, working until she was 84 years old.  Mildred was blessed with six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and she was a role model to them all in her unrelenting kindness and generosity.  She loved to travel and spent many summers on the beach in Cape May, NJ.  But her favorite place was her home on Belden Street in Binghamton, surrounded by her family at the dinner table.  She will be fondly remembered for her classic beauty, her cooking, her sense of humor, her strong work ethic, and her deep love for her family.  We are comforted to know she will be reunited with her husband Martin to resume their “dance through life.”

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the Parish of Saints John and Andrew at 7 Livingston Street in Binghamton.  The family will receive friends at The Parish of Saints John and Andrew on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m.
