Patricia A. (Weintraub) Allen 75, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She is predeceased by her husband David R. Allen; parents Harry and Anna Weintraub; brother in-law Jim Allen. She is survived by her daughters Tina and Edward Birchard; Deborah and David Gaige, Pamela and Eric Kollar; grandchildren Nikole Klein and fiancée Jeremy Snedeker, Lauren Kollar, Grayson Kollar, Dylan Kollar; great-grandchildren Caleb Klein, Alexandria Hamilton, Izabella Snedeker; furry companions Cooper and Sophie; brother and sister in laws Janet Porter, Rita and Bob Snyder, Doris Koloski, Gary and Beverly Allen, Paul and Julie Allen, Marcia and Carl Huff, Gladys and Dave Vicks, Norma Cole, Mark Allen; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.  Pat was a hairdresser for most of her life, operating a shop out of her home. She also worked in the cafeteria for the Binghamton City School District for several years.
Pat loved to cook for her family, garden, and being at the beach. Most of all, the biggest joy in her life was spending time with her family.   Special love and thanks goes out to her brother in-law Paul for all his helpfulness, support and love. The family wishes to thank all the staff on 1 Ross at Lourdes Hospital for their loving care.  Visitation will be held on Monday at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904 from 4 until 7pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 on Tuesday at the Funeral Home with Father Corey VanKuren officiating, Burial will follow at Chenango Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Pat may be made to the Humane Society 167 Conklin Ave. Binghamton, NY 13903 or the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park where Pat met Dave, the love of her life.
