Richard Walicke

Richard “Dick” T. Walicke 73, of Johnson City, NY, passed away peacefully with his longtime companion Sharon Drogan and her son Ethan at his side July 8, 2017. He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Stephanie Walicke; brother Henry Walicke Jr.; son Henry Walicke. He is survived by his son Richard (Tina) Walicke and Robert Walicke; sisters JoAnne, Marie, Margaret, Jean, Josephine, Arlene; and a brother Leo; mother of his children Helen (Gail) Walicke; as well as several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Dick was the proud owner and operator of Richard Walicke Construction, where he was always working or inventing something. He enjoyed listening to 104.5 on the radio. Dick leaves behind a longtime true friend Jim Papastrat.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at the THOMAS J. SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Dick’s memory.
