Phoenix Slater

Our hearts are heavy as we announce the passing of our beloved son, Phoenix Slater.  He was born on November 17, 2023 and brought immense joy to our lives during his brief time with us.

Though his time on earth was short, Phoenix touched the lives of all who knew him.  He will forever be remembered for the love and happiness he brought to our lives. 

Phoenix is survived by his mother, Hay-Lee Stroud, and his father, Derrick Slater, who loved him dearly.  He will also be deeply missed by his brothers Joseph Slater and Corie Brady Jr., and his sisters Ariyah Slater and Lil-Lee Brady.

He is further survived by his grandparents Rachel Stroud, Carl Stroud and Dawn & Steve Slater, along with other extended family members. Phoenix was preceded in death by his uncle Quienceallahzayah Stroud, his cousin Kaitlynn Eaton and beloved family pet Ms. Princess. 

Though he may be gone from our sight, Phoenix’s spirit will live on forever in our hearts.  He will forever be remembered with love and affection.
