Arline Simms

 
  Arline Simms 91, of Binghamton, joined her husband and son in heaven on June 22, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband William Simms; son Karl Kruger; as well as brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter Norma Contestable; granddaughter Jessica Swanson (Adam), grandson Matthew Simms; great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephew; special brother in-law Kevin Begeal and wife Teresa; beloved dog Sam. Arline was an active member of the American Legion Post 1645 and she served as president of the auxiliary, member of the color guard, served on several committees and offices, as well as a life member of the legion. The family wishes to thank Annie Hoover for her loving care over the years. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home Inc. from 10am until 12noon. A Funeral Service will follow at 12noon. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. Memorial donation's may be made to the American Legion Post 1645 in memory of Arline.
