Gary S. DiPaolo

GARY STEPHEN DIPAOLO, 69 passed away suddenly Friday May 11,2018.  Along with his parents, Betty and Steve, Gary operated DiPaolos Market on Binghamtons south side for many years. After they closed, Gary worked in sales throughout Broome County until his retirement in 2012.  Gary was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. His perfect day was a game on tv,his family around and a good meal being cooked. Who would want anything more? 
Gary leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Mary. His sons Michael, Richard (Melissa) and John. His grandchildren, Brandon, Kaydence and Samaya. He also leaves behind his sister and brother-inlaws Patricia Whalen, Colleen Matthews, Maureen and Louis Santoni, Michael Mullen,Kevin Mullen and Eileen McKenna. Also several nieces and nephews,great nieces and nephews that he loved.  Gary was a true patriot. He loved the U.S.A. and proudly went to serve in Vietnam when his country called. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 10am until 11am at Sts. John and Andrew Church on Vestal Ave. in Binghamton.  A Memorial Mass will follow at 11am with Military Honors. In lieu flowers we ask that this Memorial Day you in your own way, honor a fallen hero as well as our vets and active military.   Arrangements are in the care of Albert J. DeMarco with the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC.
Gary you will live forever in our hearts. We will miss you so much "pops". Rest in peace.
