Greg Hastings

Greg A. Hastings, 54, of Windsor, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2018. He is predeceased by his father Gerald Patrick Hastings; grandmother Grumpy. He is survived by his two loving daughters Karina Hastings, Kassi Hastings and their mother Kara Hastings; mother Ruby Jean Hastings; siblings Joe, Paula, David (Sherrie), Anne (Dan) Casella, Terri, Jeff (Alana), Eric, Joel; special friend Cheryl Kohlbach and his new puppy Gus; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a tremendous circle of friends.  Greg graduated from Windsor High school class of 1983. He joined the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1984 - 1988.  He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and golfing. He enjoyed playing cards and croquet with his family. He was known for always having an open door at his house.
He was a great man and will be dearly missed by all. A special thank you to Dr. Sethi and the neurological ICU nurses and staff at Wilson Memorial Hospital.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 8, 2018 from 3 until 6 pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904. A Celebration of his life will follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Greg’s daughters for their future expenses.
