Helen Marie (Farthing) Klein

In loving memory of Helen Marie "H" Farthing Klein, 75, of Binghamton who passed away quietly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on September 6, 2017.  She is survived by her husband George Klein, children Richard (Teresa) Klein and Chrissy Klein, siblings Sandra (John) Dundon, Henry (Becky) Farthing, Suzanne (Ray) Croteau, Tony Carestia, sister-in-law Patricia Farthing, grandchildren Tara Klein and Kelsey Klein, Goddaughter/niece Nellie (Brad) Jones, nieces and nephews Mary Beth (Roger) Depugh, Ted Farthing, Jennifer (Michael) Zahn, Nick Farthing, Amy (Francisco) Rosales, Christopher Baker, Michele Farthing, Danette (Paul) Koanui, Maryanne (Bob) Romeo-Bass. Many close relatives and friends, as well as her constant companion/ guard dog "Boo."  Helen is predeceased by her parents Charles and Victoria Farthing, her brother Edward Farthing and brother-in-law David Braisted.  
A mother to everyone, Helen opened her home to anyone she could feed and play a board game with. You would never leave her home hungry! Helen was an avid hunter in her earlier years, startling her nieces and nephews with the stuffed animals in her home. She also loved woodworking and making holiday crafts. She loved spending time with family; backyard barbeques, 4th of July parties and Christmastime were her favorite ways to do so. Her greatest hobby, though, was finding treasures for herself and others at yard sales and rummage sales.
It is Helen's request that there be no services.  In lieu of flowers, it is the family's wish that donations be made to Truth Pharm at P.O. Box 424, Binghamton, NY 13902.
