Janice S. (Carr) DiFulvio

Janice S. Carr DiFulvio, 79, passed away peacefully on August 7th at Mercy House surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Robert W. Carr Sr. and Suzanne Pensak Carr. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Thomas A. DiFulvio. She is also survived by her four children, Debra Santoni and husband Robert (Raleigh, NC), Cheri Corry and husband Johnny Norris (Raleigh, NC), Christine Dean and husband Michael (Endwell), and Thomas DiFulvio and wife Mary (Endwell). Her wonderful granddaughters, Gabrielle Santoni Johnson and husband Kyle, Alexandra Santoni Berman and husband Brian, Victoria and Daniella Dean, Lauren and Allison DiFulvio, and the newest joys of her life, great-grandsons Landry Berman and Lucas Johnson. Also survived by her brother Robert W. Carr Jr. and wife Kathy and many nieces and nephews.  She retired from Broome County Parks and Recreation Department. Her family was the most important part of her life. Janice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was giving and selfless to all who entered her life. She enjoyed supporting all of her grandchildren in their endless endeavors and was always the first one to attend every sporting event. In addition to their many friends in New York, Tom and Jan spent many winters in sunny Florida and were blessed with many friendships and wonderful memories.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4pm until 7pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton, NY 13904.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday at the Church of the Holy Family in Endwell.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lourdes Hospice 4102 Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850 or Mercy House of the Southern Tier 212 N. McKinley Avenue Endicott, NY 13760.  Arrangements are in the care of Albert J. DeMarco.
