Jean Savelli

Jean Savelli, 78 of Binghamton, NY went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 21, 2018.  Born November 2, 1939 in Wilkes-Barre, P.A. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Minnick) Patsko.  She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph J. Savelli; two sons, John and Mary Savelli, Chenango Bridge, N.Y., Joseph and Jennifer Savelli, Apalachain, N.Y. and daughter, Joyce and Larry Hanrahan, Conklin, N.Y.; a sister, Dolores Kosek of Florida; 6 grandchildren, Samuel, Kathleen, Nathan, Maura, Ethan and Kaiden; as well as her best friend Mrs. Jane Struzzeri, Endicott, N.Y. Our family wishes to thank Dr. Joseph Readling and the staff at Broome Oncology for many years of care and support, as well as the staff and volunteers at The Mercy House.  Words can’t express our appreciation for the care and compassion that you brought to us and our mother.  We sincerely thank you for making this last memory of her one of dignity and grace.  Relatives and friends may join her family for visitation and remembrances Monday, September 24, 2018 from 8:30am until 9:30am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton.  A Funeral Mass with follow at 9:30am at the church.  Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.  In lieu of floral tributes, the family requests that memorial contributions in her memory be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY 13760.
