Joan M. Pompette

Joan M. Pompette 85, of Johnson City, NY passed away peacefully on February 1, 2019. She is predeceased by her husband Gabriel Pompette; parents Francis and Anna Laskowski; as well as many siblings and in-laws. She is survived by her children Tony (Mary Lou) Pompette, Tom (Connie) Pompette, Gabe (Carol) Pompette, Mike (Mary) Pompette, Maria Pompette; grandchildren Michael (Courtney) Pompette, Nicole Pompette, Maureen (Rich) Biddle, Danielle (Nate) Byrne, Marc Pompette, Gabe Pompette IV; great-granddaughter Gracie Biddle; sisters in-law Grace Lombardini, Carol D’Esti; and her beloved dog Sophia; as well as many nieces and nephews. Joan was retired from the Day Nursery Association in Binghamton, NY. Joan was best known for being a fantastic Italian cook. She adored her family, they were her pride and joy. She will be dearly missed by all. The family wishes to thank Dr. Khan, Dr. Reika Patel; caregivers Colleen O’Brien and Danielle Lewis for their loving and extraordinary care. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 until 6pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home Inc. 138 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30am on Tuesday February 5, 2019 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton, NY. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are with Albert. J.
