John B. Crowe

John B. Crowe, 96 of Binghamton peacefully passed away August 6, 2018.  He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Clara; two step daughters Theresa Congdon, Patricia Royer and their families; sister Marilyn Maume; nieces and nephew, Sally Stevens, John Maume, Margie Langevin and their families; and several cousins.  Among many special people are his faithful, compassionate caregivers in recent years and the neighboring DeSantis Family whose loyal friendship and support span many years.  He is predeceased by his step daughters Joan Howe and Susan Smith.  He was a member of St. James Church Johnson City.  He retired from IBM after 42 years and was a Navy Veteran of World War II.  Life Member of VFW Post 478, American Legion Post 1645 and Elks Lodge #70.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 10am at St. James Church in Johnson City.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4pm to 6pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton, NY 13904.
