Judith (George) Mazzanoble, 73, passed away January 7, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Binghamton, New York, Judy was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School and SUNY Cobleskill. Judy is predeceased by her parents, George and Mildred George, her sister Barbara (George) Spolsky, and brother-in-law, Thomas Spolsky. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Tom Mazzanoble, son, Mike, of Binghamton, NY, beloved friend of the family, Rich Fabian, of Binghamton, NY, daughter, Shelly (Bart Carroll), and “the world’s most brilliant grandson,” Quinn, of Seattle, WA, sister-in-law, Linda (Mazzanoble) Hansen, and brother-in-law, Thomas Hansen. Additionally, Judy leaves behind two sisters: Elaine George of Sarasota, FL and Gail George of Kirkwood, NY and her many nieces and nephews. Judy was immensely loved. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and was a mom to many. She was a master entertainer, strategic gamer, and generous hostess. If you played cards with her, you probably still owe her money. She created happiness wherever she went, which was parlayed into her successful interior décor business. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and sister, and exceptional friend. Her wisdom, wit, and legendary brownies will be missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours Monday, January 14 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton, NY. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Judith’s name to St. Jude’s Hospital.
