Kathleen M. (Walsh) McAuliffe

Kathleen M. (Walsh) McAuliffe, 81, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2018.  She is predeceased by her beloved son Kevin McAuliffe.   She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years John “Jack” McAuliffe; daughters Deborah (Charles) Semenza, Patricia (Gary) Henderson; daughter-in-law Teresa McAuliffe; grandchildren Daniel (Isabel) Semenza, Timothy (Nikki) Semenza, Nicholas Semenza, William (Jordan) Henderson, Michael Henderson, Katharine Henderson, Nathaniel (Gwen) McAuliffe and Jacqueline McAuliffe.  She retired from Binghamton General Hospital and Broome County Health Department as a Registered Nurse.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother who will be greatly missed for her sassy personality and wonderful sense of humor.   The McAuliffe family is eternally grateful to the staff on Apple Cottage of the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford. Kathleen and Jack were able to enjoy the last year of her life together under the loving care of the amazing staff of the Veterans Home.   A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 4pm at the NYS Oxford Veterans Home in the Auditorium; Fr. Mark Giroux will officiate the service.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Mark's  Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 458 Chenango Bridge, NY 13745.
