Marjorie A. (Eggsware) Lewis

Marjorie A. Lewis 81, of Maine, NY passed on Saturday, August 4, 2018. She is survived by her loving and caring husband Edwin E. Lewis, children Thomas & Cindy Staves, Steve Staves, Debbie Lownds and Jeffery Staves; sisters Dorothy Hakes NC, Joan Williams Fort Wayne, IN and Beverly (Ron) Richey, Charlotte, NC; mother- in- law  Dorothy Weaver, sister-in- law Sharon (Jason) Repp and many loved grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Marge was predeceased by her mother and father Sarah Elsie and Walter Eggsware and brothers Richard, Robert and Kenny.  Marge was born in Malone,NY and raised her family in Tupper Lake while enjoying the great outdoors doing the things she loved like skiing, hunting, fishing.  Marge was an accomplished seamstress and made beautiful clothing for her entire family and many friends.  Marjorie spent her entire life working for NYS; APA, Sunmount Developmental Center, Binghamton Psych Ctr., OGS and Binghamton University. Her friendly smile and kind demeanor will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5pm until 7pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton, NY 13904. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
