Nicholas Truillo Obituary


Nicholas Truillo, 92, of Binghamton went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2018. He is predeceased by his wife Addie; his parents, Thomas and Filomena Truillo, and his sister Grace Brown.  He is survived by his children Jim and Marie Truillo, Larry Truillo, and Rita (Truillo) and Mike Carlucci; Grandchildren Nicole and MaryRose Truillo, Nicholas, Mary, Larry Joe, and Katie Truillo, and Taylor & Kyle Carlucci; sisters Lena Cacialli and Beverly Puglisi as well as many other nieces and nephews.  Nick served as a T4 Sergeant in the US Army during WWII and was stationed in Guam and Saipan.  He was a tank driver and mechanic during his military career.  After the war, Nick returned to Binghamton, met and married his wife, Addie, and raised their three children.  Nick worked for Endicott Johnson for 17 years and then finished his working career at Ozalid, retiring in 1981.  His favorites pastimes were bowling, a good game horseshoes and routing for his two favorite sports teams – The NY Mets and the NY Giants.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 27th at 8:45 at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton and continue at 9:30a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26th from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Danielle House, 160 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
