Ronald R. DeSilva Obituary

Ronald R. DeSilva, 86, was called into the arms of Our Lord on October 12, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents Beatrice and Ralph, sister Beverly Cross and brother-in-law Bob, sister Pat Weston and brother-in-law Paul. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Yolanda (Cost), his sister-in-law Patricia Dilley and husband Russell, his sister-in-law Andrea Cucura, his brother-in-law Nick Cost, his Uncle Leon and many loving nephews, nieces, close cousins and friends.
Ron served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a salesman for Broome Pump and Supply for many years. He will be remembered for his upbeat attitude and humor that brought happiness to all around him. He loved to travel, especially in Florida and Alaska. He also enjoyed attending and watching sporting events particularly the 'Cuse and North High. Ron got such joy from watching the antics and playfulness of each new addition to the family. His family will receive friends and relatives at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1031 Chenango Street, Hillcrest on Monday October 15, 2018 at 10am to 11am a Funeral Mass will follow at 11am.
