Vicky Matson

Vicky Travis Matson age 53 of Binghamton, N.Y. went to be with her Lord surrounded by her family at her side. Vicky fought a very courageous battle with cancer. Never did she complain or fear the loss of her life to this sickness. She loved her family and looked forward to every visit from whoever came to see her. She would always ask if WE needed anything. She had such a gentle soul and had no mean words for anyone. She enjoyed visits to what once was our family cottage. She loved to shop, get her nails done, and had a sweet tooth. She loved her Dog “Murdock”. Vicky was the youngest of 10 and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.”Go rest High on that Mountain Vicky”.We Love you.

She is Predeceased by her husband Eric Matson, Her Father Edmond Travis Her Biological Father Robert Travis, and sister Annie Travis.

She is survived by her daughters Naomi Hanyon, Lorena (Jeremy) Hawley, Grand Children Charolette, Carlisle, Clint Hanyon. Mother MaryAnn Travis, Biological Mother Ida Short, Siblings Rev. Dann(Bonnie) Travis, Ed(Lisa)Travis, Randy(Sandy)Travis, David(Ann)Travis, Brenda(Roger)Salai, Robin(Mike)Carter, Mark(Chris)Travis, Dennis(Grace)Travis, Jody(Jeff)Starchok. Bobby Travis Jr, John Travis, Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and dear Friends.

Calling Hours will be Monday Nov.18th Starting @6:00 with service at 7:00pm at Crossroads of Life Church on 20 Exchange St, with her brother Rev. Dann Travis Officiating.
