Angelo J. Pupillo

Angelo J. Pupillo, 80, of Binghamton, NY, took his final hot-rod cruise to heaven on Thursday November 10, 2022.  He was predeceased by his father Matthew M. Pupillo, mother Angelia A. Pupillo, sister Josephine Zimmer.  Angelo is survived by his former wife/forever best friend Julie E. Pupillo (Binghamton, NY) their  children Ellen L. Pupillo (Binghamton, NY), Michael A. (Katrina) Pupillo (Tampa, FL) , Patricia (Charlie) Gabriel (Chenango Forks, NY); grandchildren: Jordan Wayman, Nathanial Gittings, Sarah Pupillo, Nathan Gabriel, John Pupillo Gerchman and much more family and friends of the family who referred to Angelo as their "2nd dad."  Angelo was an avid classic/custom/collectable car builder/enthusiast. He was a former VP of administrations for Southern Tier Hockey Association. He was a former minor official for the Broome Dusters. His long-time passion and love of cars gave him so much joy and many long-lasting friendships were made. He also believed no car was completed until it had his unique touch. His smile and joy of life would light up a room.  Family was most important to him, and services will be held at the family’s convenience per Angelo’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation made in Angelo’s name to the American Heart Association or any local youth organization of your choice.  Arrangements are by THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME INC. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton.
