Anne Ziac

Anne (Bernarde) Ziac, born June 16, 1927 passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anne touched many lives.  Anne was predeceased by her loving husband Leon “Lee” Ziac Sr. and her son Leon Ziac, Jr.

She is survived by her son David (Kim) Ziac; grandchildren Adam (Marie, Casey (Jonathan), and great grandchildren Madeline, James and Vincent, all of Binghamton.  As well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Anne was a seamstress, opening her home to many customers who became friends over the years.  She enjoyed feeding and watching the many birds that came to her yard.  She was a long-time resident of Sunrise Terrace.  The family would like to extend a specific thank you to the wonderful staff at Ideal Senior Living Center. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 3pm to 5pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904.  Funeral Services will follow at 5pm.

In Lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society. Anne sewed and donated many prosthetics for the ACS.
