Antonio (Anthony) Masciarelli passed away Sunday, September, 3rd, 2023. He is predeceased by his father, Mario Masciarelli, and his son Mario Masciarelli, who was the highlight of his life, grandparents Antonio and Antoinetta Masciarelli, Giuseppe & Antoinetta DiLoretto, Aunt Lillian Bryan Anna Rose and Alfonso DiRico. Anthony had a zeal for life, He always enjoyed chasing the next adventure. He loved racing motorcycles so much; he raced as a professional and won many races. He was a good friend and would give his shirt off his back to anyone. Anthony worked with the family business, Masciarelli Construction and Pronto’s Cucina. After his father died in an accident, Anthony ran the family construction business. As Tony got older his memory got to be more challenging. After exploring several specialists, it was determined that he had early stage Alzheimer's. Anthony is survived by his loving mother, Laura (Nicoletta), his brother Mario and Julie, nephew Dante, Niece Mariah & Patrick and family. His aunts and uncles: Armando and Emelina Mascarelli, Carmuele and Antoinetta DiLoreta, Uncle Alfred Bryan and many cousins and many friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Rana Ahmed, Wilson Hospital ICU, and North Tower 4, and the staff of the west wing at Willow Point Nursing Home.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM from St. Mary the Assumption Church Binghamton. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 8:30 until time of Mass at 10.
