Assunta Gaube

Assunta “Sue” Gaube 94, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully from natural causes at home on February 7, 2021 and is now in the arms of her savior Jesus Christ.  She is predeceased by her husband William Gaube; daughter Maria Cacialli; her parents; and all her siblings. She is survived by her son William (Valerie) Gaube; grandchildren Joel (Melanie) Cacialli; Nicole Cacialli, Tim Pietruszewski, Nicole (Phil Croteau) Barker; great-grandchildren Carter and Cameron Cacialli; special nephew Dennis Portararo; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her family. She enjoyed baking cookies for Christmas and was a huge fan of the NY Yankees. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Louise Manor, Lourdes Hospice, especially her aide Crystal for their loving and extraordinary care they provided Sue. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:30am until 12:30pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Binghamton, NY, A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30pm. The mass will be live streamed at tinyurl.com/12w5eun. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Sue’s Memory.
