Barbara B. Kinney

Barbara Kinney died peacefully on May 28, 2022, at the Cedar Run nursing home in Cortland NY at the age of 93.  Barbara led aerobics and bone strength classes, at various senior centers, well into her eighties and enjoyed reading, figuring out cryptogram puzzles and spending time with her family.  Barbara loved to see people laugh and was quick with a joke or a funny story and always had a smile to share with whom ever she met.  Barbara is predeceased by her husband Charles “Steve” Kinney and will rest beside him at the family’s cemetery, Jersey Hill Cemetery Auburn Center PA.  Barbara is survived by her sons Steven Kinney and Edward Kinney (Mari-Jo Kinney), grandsons Denny Simonds (Melissa Simonds), Brian Kinney (Rachel Perciphone Kilbury), Zachary Kinney and granddaughters Annabelle Bradley (Matt Bradley) and Ashley Fallon.  Barbara is also survived by great grandsons Phoenix Simonds, Kamden Simonds, Lennox Simonds and Kevin Bradley. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 499 Plaza Drive, Vestal NY.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at the Church at 10am.  Burial will follow in Jersey Hill Cemetery.
