Barry L. Evan

January 16, 2025 Barry L. Evan 82 has been reunited with his parents Mildred (Kocher) and Stephen Evan; siblings Keith, Don, Gerald, Judy Maat & Sandra Junker; his ever-faithful Sophia and he are tossing the ball and I’m sure Barry is sneaking her cheese and pepperoni.   

Barry is survived by his wife of 58 years Maria (Pavilonis); daughter Gerith; sons Barry C., Trevor (Tina), Martin (Danielle).
Barry was very proud Gramps to Isaac, Monica, Anthony, Caleb, Gabriel, Seraphina, Stefano and Martino.  

A man of extreme intelligence, impeccable work ethic with far too many accomplishments for which he would never boast. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 25, 2025 from 1pm to 3pm, with a funeral service to follow at 3pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904.  

Internment will take place at Kocher family cemetery Harvey’s Lake PA where Barry will be laid to rest next to his parents.  

Family asks that in Barry’s memory go fishing and plant lots of garlic to share.
