Beverly J. (Harris) Szelkowski

Beverly Jane (Harris) Szelkowski, 94 years young from Binghamton passed peacefully on February 19, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband, George; daughter Leslie; grandson Thomas; parents Gertrude and Harry Harris; brothers Richard, Milton, Ron and sister Doris.  Beverly is survived by sons Frank (Jan), David (Jody), Dan (Tilde), John (Judy) and Greg Szelkowski and daughter Judy (John) McHale.  She adored her grandchildren, Jennifer, Todd, Jesse, Josh, Erika, Kristina, Kathryn, Patrick and Adam and her great grandchildren Kaelyn, Addison, Ashley, Anna, Kyla, Declan and Kara.  Sharing in our loss are her brothers, Phillip (Sally), Daryl (Joann), Raymond (Amy), Russell Harris and Sister Dawn.  Included are numerous nieces, and nephews whom Beverly cherished.   
Aside from her passion for family, Beverly loved to quilt, sew and crochet.  Many family members will continue to enjoy the beautiful quilts and blankets she made for them. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the tender loving care she received at Willow Point Nursing home for over 9 years. 
Family and friends may pay their respects at Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 9am to 10am. A Service will follow at 10am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude’s Children Research Center at St. Jude.org.
