Beverly M. (Jayne) Westbrook

Beverly M. (Jayne) Westbrook passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Beverly was born in Binghamton, New York on December 22, 1934.  
She is survived by her loving daughters Theresa Slodki and Linda Zembek; her grandchildren Michael Slodki, Matthew Slodki (Allie), Juliana Slodki, Steven Zembek (Karen) and great grandchildren Allie and Nolan Zembek; brother Lewis Jayne; sister Gloria Jayne; and a special niece Tanya Carter.  
She was predeceased by her loving husband Ronald Westbrook, sisters Madge, Estelle, Veronica, Frances and brother Bill Jayne. 
Beverly worked for many years as a Therapy Aide at the Binghamton Psychiatric Center.  Upon her retirement she and Ronnie enjoyed many happy years wintering with their friends in Florida. 
She loved polka music, Lawrence Welk, card games, puzzle books and BINGO.  Special thank you to the Homestead Prentice House for their kind loving care and compassion during her stay there.  
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 11am to 12pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton.  A Funeral Service will follow at noon.  Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
