Carmella K. (Benjamin) Gale

On November 23, 2021 after a heroic struggle Carmella K. Gale, 51, passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side. She is predeceased by her daughter Lindsey.  She is survived by her parents Al and Rachael Benjamin; husband George Gale; daughters Casandra and Samantha Gale; two grandchildren D.J.  and Athena; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Also, numerous kids that called her “mom” or their “second mom”.  She was an avid gardener and equestrian rider.  She loved baking and cooking with her kids.  Carmella loved life, her family and children in general. She always helped any child in need.   Visitation will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4pm to 6pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 165 Clifton Blvd, Vestal NY.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
