Carole F (Baldwin) Baer

Carole Fern (Baldwin) Baer, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 21, 2023. Carole was born November 1, 1932 to Raymond and Musa (Warner) Baldwin.  She was predeceased by her husband Thornton (Teddy) C. Baer, and great grandson Nathan L. Cook.  
She is survived by Linda Griffin, Debra and Marshall Cook, John and Lyn Baer, plus 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  
After 33 years of happy service Carole retired in 1997 from Columbian Mutual Life Insurance Company where she was Assistant to the Comptroller.  
Carole loved family gatherings, friends, playing games, music, dancing, volunteering at Wilson and Binghamton General Hospitals, camping, boating and fishing.  She loved traveling with Teddy and with good friends.  She was dynamite in a small package and will be mightily missed.  
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the 3rd floor staff at Elizabeth Church Manor for all of the care they have lovingly provided.  
A service will be held in her honor at Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton, NY 13904 on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 12Noon.  Visitation will begin at 11am until the time of the service.  Burial will follow in Shawsville Cemetery in Conklin NY.
