Catherine Shadduck Obituary

Catherine “Katie” E. Shadduck nee (Bailey) 95, of Binghamton passed away on January 5, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband Norman R. Shadduck Sr., parents Samuel and Louise (Fiedler) Bailey, brother Richard Bailey; sisters Rita Barden, Anne O’Dea and Barbara Ingerman; also predeceased by her brother in-law Edward Dean Shadduck.
Katie is survived by her children Norman Jr. and Catherine A. Shadduck, Mark and Tonia Shadduck, Suzanne and Timothy Luce, and David Shadduck (fiance Patricia Colon); nine grandchildren Kristen Harding, Lisa Stone, Christopher Shadduck, Corinne Farneti, Sara Lindley, Michael Farneti, Austin Shadduck, Brooke Shadduck, Olivia Shadduck; five great-grandchildren Dylan Templeton, Madeline Harding, Hailey Stone, Lindsey Stone, Quinn Shadduck; brother in-law Richard O’Dea; sister in-law Sigrid Shadduck, and many nieces and nephews.
Katie was a resident of Fairview Good Shepherd in Binghamton; we wish to thank the staff for their compassionate care. She worked at Ansco and Shadduck Insurance. She spent winters in Bradenton, FL. Katie loved golf, swimming, bowling, pinochle, gardening, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with family. Katie was also a member of St. Francis (St. Catherine’s) in Hillcrest. The family loved her homemade Saturday night pizza.
 Due to COVID 19, Funeral Services will be private for the immediate family at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME INC. Interment will be at a later day in Calvary Cemetery. Donations in remembrance of Catherine may be made to a charitable organization of your choice.
