Christina M. Secor, 76, of Binghamton, went to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, March 24, 2024, with family by her side.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Secor; her parents, Joseph & Mildred DeRosa; her brother, Joseph DeRosa Jr.; and her grandson, Ashton Maus.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Brian); sons, Marc (Jacqueline) & Robert (Jolee); sister, Adina (Tony); sisters-in-law, Diana & Lynne; cousin, Donna; grandchildren, Zachary (Maeve), Adia (Lexi), Julian, Zane, & Roenna; many nieces & nephews; and two furry friends, her beloved cats, Millie & Molly.
Christina spent many years working with her husband at their business, County Appliance Service, and was instrumental in its operation. She later found success in owning her own business, Curves, where she made numerous friends. Christina spent some of her most cherished times hosting loved ones in her home, no matter the occasion, and always enjoyed socializing with her close friends, Patti, Melanie, and Marie. Christina will be remembered as an avid New York Yankee fan and lover of games; she was never one to turn down a game night. Her favorite pastime of all was spending time with her family, especially her dear grandchildren, who fondly referred to her as “BGE.”
Calling hours will be held Monday, April 1st, 2024, from 5 to 7 pm at Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, 137 Robinson St., Binghamton, NY 13904. Guests are welcome to remain on site for a service following directly after at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MS Society.
