Christopher J. Tierno

Christopher J. Tierno, 39, lost his battle with an aggressive form of cancer on July 1, 2024.  
He is predeceased by his father Philip Tierno and very special uncle Dino Rossi.
He is survived by his loving mother Raffaela Rossi; brother and best friend Nicholas Tierno; brother Jason Taylor; his loving canine companion Tucker; and many family members of the Rossi and Tierno families. 
Chris had a passion for racing BMX, motocross biking, mountain biking, snowboarding and Vermont where he lived for many years and loved.  He was a kind soul with a huge heart, always helping others.  Chris had a smile that would light up a room, he will be greatly missed by all. 
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Monday, July 8, 2024 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton.  The family will receive friends at the church from 9am to 9:50am.  Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. 
Memorial contributions can be made to Broome County Humane Society in Chris’s memory.
