Cindy M. (Beers) Williams

Cindy Williams (Beers) born May 23, 1957 died April 10, 2025 after a long battle with diabetes.  She was predeceased by her husband Donald T. Williams and her father Raymond S. Beers.  She is survived by her mother Elaine Florance, sister Lisa Van Ryn (Paul); stepmother Alice Beers and sisters Terry Demmin (Doug), Theresa Coran (Kevin), Tammy Rowan (Mike), Sharon Snyder (Greg Boeck), Trudy Ghosen (Justin); sister in-law Sue Williams (Mike), brother in-law Paul Williams; and several nieces and nephews. Cindy began her career at Rivermeade Nursing Home. She brought some joy to the residents with daily kindnesses and her (almost) famous holiday parties. She moved on from there to a long career with NYS at the SUNY Binghamton Library. Cindy was incredibly insightful and had a wonderful sense of humor. But her real zest for life showed most clearly in her compassion and love for her fur children.  She had many, but her special dog Zak is sure to have led the pack in meeting her at the rainbow bridge.
With the passing of her beloved husband Don services will be held for both of them on Friday, April 18, 2025.  Visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY.  A service will follow at 12pm.
