Claudia Carpenter

Claudia J. Carpenter 76, of Kirkwood, NY, went to her reward on March 21, 2021.
She is predeceased by her parents Rice and Virginia Weaver; son Timothy Carpenter; sister in-law Elaine King.

Claudia is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Carpenter; children Laura (John) Ryan, Aric (Jennifer Mahar) Carpenter; grandchildren Rachel (Richard) Bennett, Rebecca (Mark) Chang, Nicklaus Carpenter, Aric Paul Carpenter, Timothy Carpenter, David Carpenter; great-grandsons Gavin and Owen; sister in-law Glena (Denton) Sutphen; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 After retirement, she enjoyed traveling around the United States. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, in Homosassa, Florida.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 25, 2021 from 12pm until 1pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME INC. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904.  A Funeral Service will follow at 1pm. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm at the American Legion Post 1645.
