Obituary

Damion James Mahoney passed away on Friday February 24, 2023. Damion loved his friends and family, good music, and having a good time. Damion worked as a truck driver and electrician. Damion lived in Harpursville and graduated from Harpursville Central High School and Delhi College. He was predeceased by his father Paul J. Mahoney, and is survived by his mother Elizabeth I. Mahoney, his sister Danielle M. Mahoney- Brown, brother-in-law Robert I. Brown, his nephew Ethan Brown and his niece Ava Brown, and his brother Shawn P. Mahoney. He is survived by his Aunt Mary E. Mahoney, and his Uncle Neil Roberts and Aunt Evelyn, along with many other cousins and friends. He shared a special friendship with Brian “Newt” Springstead and his wife Lynde, Gary and Angela Morlando, Brian and Teresa Wayman, and Jason and Julie Powell and many other treasured friends. Our family invites you to join them for a celebration of his life on Thursday March 2nd, 2023 at the American Legion Post 1194 in Hillcrest from 5:30 to 9. Food and drinks will be served. A ceremony and a toast to his life will be held at 7:00. All are welcome.
