Dan served in the Vietnam War as an infantryman in the United States Army. Later in life, he enjoyed going back to Vietnam where he appreciated the culture and met Loan. He worked for Conrail for many years. Dan is very much missed and will be remembered for his sense of humor and how he enjoyed the simple things in life. Despite that, he always liked to look good and had a great sense of style. He seemed happiest spending time at the farm where he could find peacefulness and quiet. He was an avid reader, very smart, thoughtful with his words, easy-going, and always on the side of the underdog. He rarely talked about himself - but those who grew up with him know how he loved horses, ice skating, and playing pool. Dan is loved by many and will not be forgotten. Services will be held at the Church of Saints John and Andrew in Binghamton on Saturday, December 9, 2023 with a wake from 10- 12 followed by Mass at noon.
