Daniel M. Nugent

Daniel M. Nugent passed away unexpectedly at home on March 31, 2023 at the age of 63. He is predeceased by his mother Joan Nugent. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Wagstaff-Nugent; his son Daniel “DJ” (Emily Middlebrook) Nugent; his father Michael Nugent; brother David (Denise) Nugent; sister Laura Nugent; DJ’s mother Theresa Nugent-White; Linda’s sons Alan and Brian Wagstaff, and her grandson Shea Wagstaff; as well as many nieces, nephews and many friends. Dan retired from the City of Binghamton after 37 years in the Water & Sewer Department. He loved surf fishing in Fenwick Island and rooting for his favorite football team the NY Jets. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton. A Memorial Service will follow at 1pm. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Humane Society in Dan’s memory.
