David J. Armstrong

David J. Armstrong, 38 went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2021.  He leaves behind his wife Marcheta Rayanne Armstrong.  He is predeceased by his grandparents Ginny and Robert Chipper; uncles Stephen and David Armstrong, Robert Dickerson and Robert Sanderson Sr.  He is survived by his parents Renny (Curt) Zanker, Harry (Hope) Armstrong; brother Christopher Kiekel; grandparents Estella and Daniel Armstrong; his children Stephen and Johnathan Armstrong and Avamae; stepchildren Masyn, Aydyn, Kameron and Lillian Hills; a very special nephew Christopher “Pickle”; and many special Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.  He had a passion for cooking, small engine repair and the Vikings Football Team. Most important was his love for his children and family. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and trauma teams from Binghamton and Upstate Medical in Syracuse who cared for David this past year. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 11am until 1pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton.  A Funeral Service will follow at 1pm.
