Diane Ruth DeFrancisco

Diane Ruth DeFrancisco, 80, of Chenango Bridge NY entered The Kingdom of Heaven on 9/18/2024. She is predeceased by her husband Michael, her parents Gerald and Helen, her sister Margaret and her very best friend Connie. She is survived by her sister Gerry Russell, her children Kevin (Tammi), Korin (Dale) Spencer, and Lindsay and her grandchildren, the lights of her life, Hannah Cashman (Brian), Jessica, and Riley Spencer, Christina DeFrancisco, and Jonah Thompson. She was also “Already” loved by her soon to be born great-granddaughter, Brooke Grace Cashman. Most of all Diane was unconditionally loved by her four-legged friend Sophia, whom she never let out of her sight.
Diane was a dedicated hairdresser for over fifty years. Her faithful, long-standing customers were not only friends, but many became family. Thank you to all that were so kind through the years and provided that special outlet for her.
Diane was a long-time member of Chenango Bridge Methodist Church where she dedicated countless hours of her time.
Her family unselfishly cared for her in the final chapter. Although it was a dark and challenging time, we took any moments of light and laughter from her final days and will cherish those moments despite it all.
A special thank you to Jetta, Alisha, Katie, Sophie, and Bobbie for the time they spent caring for Mom. They all were a critical part of Diane’s difficult journey.
Diane is now free of the pain of this Earth and her mind is clear as she flies with the angels in her eternal life.
Services will be private for the family at a later date. Expressions of empathy in Diane’s memory may be made to Lourdes Hospice or Mercy House.
