Diane J. (Beneke) Smalanskas

Diane J. (Beneke) Smalanskas, 59, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2019.  Survived by her loving husband Walter; mother Marion Beneke; sister and brother-in-law Christine and Steve Leahy; brother Craig Beneke; two nieces and her 8 babies with tails whom she adored.  She loved dancing, bowling and basically just having fun.  She had an excellent eye as a florist.  She will be sorely missed by all. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 2pm until 4pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton, NY 13904.  A Memorial Service will follow at 4pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society, 167 Conklin Ave, Binghamton, NY 13903 in Diane's memory.
