Dianna Marie Dimon, born May 19, 1948, passed peacefully on May 5, 2022, in Johnson City, New York. She was predeceased by her parents, Lester and Beaulah Seidel, and her brother Lester Seidel Jr. She is survived by William (Bill) Dimon, her loving and devoted husband of fifty years. Continuing her legacy are her son William Seidel (Debra Austin); stepdaughter Kimberly Shaw (Dan Shaw); son Mark Dimon (Renee Dimon); daughter Lori Osborn; siblings Joseph Seidel and Cindy Rose; grandchildren John, Kailee, Andrew, Lauren, Jacob, Emma, Mallory, Reese, Madison; step grandchildren Jessica, Timothy, Nicholas, Erica, Britney, David; and six great grandchildren. Also, Dianna had several nieces and nephews, as well as numerous dear friends that she had made throughout her years.
Dianna had opportunities to try different careers over the years. Her favorite job was working in the emergency room at Binghamton General Hospital; Dianna retired from the ER several years ago. She had a love of traveling and gambling; there was nothing that made her smile more than an upcoming road trip with Bill. Grandma, or “Nama” as some called her, will be fondly remembered for her love of her family and friends. When it came to Christmas and birthdays, no gift was ever too large, too loud, or too much for her grandchildren.
On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, family will receive guests from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, located at 137 Robinson Street Binghamton. This viewing will be followed by a graveside service at Vestal Hills Memorial Park in Vestal, New York.
