Donald T. Williams

Donald Thomas Williams, 67, of Johnson City, NY, passed away unexpectedly with his dog Murphy by his side on April 3, 2025.  Don is predeceased by his parents Doris and George Williams; brother Walter (Skip) Williams and step-mother Mary Williams.  
He is survived by his wife Cindy Williams; brother Paul Williams; sister Susan (Michael) Williams; his mother-in-law, Elaine Florence; sisters-in-law Ruth (Jerry) Waterman and Lisa (Paul) VanRyn; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. 
Don was a Boy Scout in Sanitaria Springs, NY for several years.  He liked dirt bikes, swimming holes and being with friends.  He met hundreds of people in his work as the hardware man at Lou Rappaports “house of a thousand items” his first job, and Kovarik’s his last job. In between he worked at Rivermeade and Comfort Inn providing building maintenance. He was a man of all trades. 
Family and friends looked forward to seeing Don ride up on his motorcycle, his favorite mode of transportation.  He loved to ride on beautiful days visiting, sharing his home-grown vegetables, keeping in touch.  His quick wit and sense of humor will be missed. He will always be remembered when we hear the tunes of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Led Zepplin. 

With the passing of his beloved wife Cindy services will be held for both of them on Friday, April 18, 2025.  Visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY.  A service will follow at 12pm.
