Donald Yannuzzi

Donald J. Yannuzzi 84, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2018 with his family by his side. He is predeceased by his parents John and Mary Yannuzzi; and his Yannuzzi and DeOrazio brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Jo Ann Yannuzzi; their children John and Kathy Yannuzzi (Alexis), Mary Jo and Greg Fontana (Adrianna, Paul), Michael and Karen Yannuzzi (Gio, Amy, Adalia, Makenzi, Corey), Colleen and John Paddock (Courtney, Edwin, Matthew), Joseph Yannuzzi (Johnathan), Kelly and Michael Robinson (Daniel, Danielle, Bryce, Brynn, Taylor, Kari, Michael Joseph), Patricia (Z) and John Fian, Anne Marie and Dan Ferranti (Vittorio), Kathleen and Robert Guiles, Rachelle and Dick Foley; special life long friends Theresa and Tony Cardillo and Luanne Stento. His favorite pastimes included time spent with his family, annual vacations to Tucson, AZ, and the Jersey Shore. He loved every Tuesday and Thursday playing cards and being with friends at the Sons of Italy. Don was infamous for cooking his Italian specialties and sharing with all. He worked as many jobs as it took to raise his family but his favorite was at Rocco J. Testani Inc. He was proud of his military service from 1953-1956 with the Marine Corps. during the Korean Conflict. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the THOMAS J. SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904 from 4 until 7pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at 9:30am on Wednesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church Binghamton, NY. Internment will follow in Calvary Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Danielle House or the Mercy House in Don’s memory.
