Dorothy (Dishy) Restino, Binghamton

On the 26th of March, Dorothy Restino, 96 our one-of-a-kind, and loving mother went up to heaven to be reunited with her husband. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Mike, her parents John and Barbara Swinko, sisters Mary, Rose, Helen, Anne, and Patty, two brothers John and Leonard and great granddaughters Josephine and Caroline Rose. She survived by her son Michael (Eileen) and a daughter Barbara (Steve); her grandchildren Joseph (Terry), Mikey (Gretchen), Stephen (Nina), Jonathan  (Jennifer).  She is also survived by her great grandchildren Chris (Jill), Katie, Michael, Jack, Harry, and Peyton and a great great granddaughter Hallie, and a sister Terry Schiavone. Dorothy was also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Mom's niece Debbie held a special place in her heart.  Dishy was the family doctor, lawyer, tax consultant, and chef.  We will always remember Sunday and Holiday feasts. The family would also like to thank Dr. Frank Eder and his staff for their care and compassion.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 10:00 AM from Saint Vincent De Paul Blessed Sacrament Church 46 Clubhouse Road Vestal.   Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Johnson City.
